Nedocromil is no longer marketed in the United States. No published experience exists with nedocromil during breastfeeding, but the amounts absorbed from ophthalmic drops are unlikely to affect the breastfed infant. Other agents may be preferred, especially while nursing a newborn or preterm infant.
