No information is available on the use of baricitinib during breastfeeding. Expert opinion recommends that mothers not breastfeed while taking baricitinib. An alternate drug is preferred, especially while nursing a newborn or preterm infant. The manufacturer recommends that women avoid nursing during therapy and for 4 days after the last dose.
